Howard Sherwood has worked in marketing and design for 30 years and has gained a wealth of experience as a client and a supplier primarily in the arts, heritage and education sectors where long and productive relationships have been built with clients. He facilitates innovative and creative solutions to communication problems.
 

• Started marketing career at Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury.

• Part of marketing team which launched Plymouth Theatre Royal.

• Worked for Cambridge Theatre Company in marketing/education role.

• Grew small print production consultancy into the multi-disciplinary Opus Design Group.

• Co-founded Paradigm Design working predominantly within the arts sector.

 

• Directed the Barbican Centre account which developed into 11-year relationship, including production of the monthly brochure.

• Formed Oxygen following Paradigm’s merger with The Loft.

• Co-ordinated implementation of Royal College of Music’s new brand identity including a re-designed prospectus and website.

• Worked with The Anvil concert venue in Basingstoke to sustain audience growth by upgrading marketing materials, and delivered strategic branding report.

• Produced communications manual for Heritage Lottery Fund including delivery of a training programme.

• Re-designed and currently produces Musical Stages magazine and its web-site.

• Created graphic identity for MTM, a professional membership body supporting musical theatre.

• Marketing/brand consultancy for Groups Welcome including development of a management datbase, directory design and production and web consultancy.
